Reform has technically existed since the Premier was in 6th grade. In the shiny house of Excalibur came the Freedom club, a vigilante group with many programmers who teamed up against the schools IT department, with the goal of finding every unblocked website imaginable. We did everything from play games to watch literal television in class, but that's a story for another time.
When 7th grade rolled around for the members, the Freedom Club was put to the side for a bit due to some business constraints. A couple of the people that make up some executive ranks of Reform today founded Simpliciti Games on August 26th, 2024. Simpliciti Games still exists, standing its own against the test of time and ever changing issues in the industry.
Once 8th grade had already started for the remaining members, it was decided that the Freedom club had to go back to full scale operations. The Premier had an idea to pivot the Freedom club into a whole new organization, and with that Reform was born. This is the 3rd iteration of Reform. The first one is the Freedom club obviously, then the 2nd one lasted until about February 2026, when the Dean of students attempted to have us shut down for tech violations (shocking, isn't it. Though it was extremely small compared to the Freedom club hay day.) but the 3rd iteration has kept on without any issue.Â
This history section is not my idea, but rather the idea of a member who found it necessary to bring up how long we have had this struggle fighting for students. I think they have a point. Why not fight for us when we have fought for you so long?
-- Premier of the Reform Party.
